With its 24 stations, the U8 line runs for almost 18 kilometres through four
districts of Berlin. If you look at the passengers getting on from the northern
starting point U Wittenau to the southern terminal station U Hermannstraße,
you often seem to recognize where you are. I approached the almost 100
people in the immediate vicinity of the underground stations and
photographed them with an analogue large format camera.
